Give Back PR - The Back Story
Stephanie Abrams was a CBS reporter and anchor serving local and national broadcasts. Following her work in television Abrams spearheaded the first social media outreach and team development for the Los Angeles Unified School District as their first DIrector of Social Media, where she was responsible for communicating district news to 65,000 employees and nearly one million students and their families.
She created Give Back PR as a way to find and share inspiring stories from those who are giving back to the community. After so many years covering leading news stories of tragic events, this became her way of giving back more positive news to the community. Give Back PR is a division of Abrams Management LLC.
Stephanie has also worked as the Los Angeles Bureau Chief and senior correspondent for Circa which shared her videos with the Sinclair Broadcast Group's television news stations across the country. Her work there earned her two Webbys, along with more than 30 million views on social media. She initiated Circa Cares to bring more stories about people making a difference in their communities to the larger broadcast and web audience served by Sinclair Broadcast Group.
In her spare time Stephanie is a community volunteer, and enjoys being a life long learner. She earned her IBM Certification in Applied AI last year and is working towards a Masters Degree in Business Management at Harvard University's Extension School.
